Jamplay Review -You Have Different Ways To Learn Blues Guitar

April 21st, 2010 by Andrey Wong | No Comments | Filed in learn guitar on

You are able to learn blues guitar from a lot of places. You can sign up for lessons at your community college. You can hire someone who teaches guitar to groups or even gives private lessons. You of course must first decide what is your reason to play the guitar of blues.

If your answer is to simply learn the guitar to play then you will want to take some basic lessons to learn some general chords before advancing to the level of blues guitar. Then you have to realize that the purest of blues guitar will say that you need to live a life of the blues before you can play the blues guitar.

They will say that unless you have lived the live of the blues, one of sorrow and emotional pain, you will never be a true guitar blues player. But if even you have not lived a life of the blues there is nothing stopping you from giving it a try. You might surprise yourself and even the purest.

Even if you have not lived a life of sorrow and pain you can still become a good blues guitar player if you put in the time to practice and determination to learn the best way you can. Like a lot of other skills you can learn off the internet the blues guitar.

You will find blues guitar video lessons on the internet. You can watch a video online that is about five to ten minutes long that will demonstrate techniques and scales and what are known in the art, licks. You can start off with free videos and then if you want can upgrade to a paid service that will teach more in depth about chords and more complex scales and licks.

The advantage to this type of instruction is that you can watch the videos and use them at your own speed. You can view them and hear them until you are ready to join in. You can study the chords and scales and then try them yourself with or without the video playing with you.

You can focus on the instructors hand and finger placement and copy it until you have it right. The idea is to make it all second nature while at the same time absorbing the music in your mind and so that you will know the sound you are going for. But like any skill it takes practice and self discipline to become to learn blues guitar. You have however many options on how to learn.
